Jordi Arbiol

Jordi Arbiol serves as an ICREA Professor and Group Leader of the Advanced Electron Nanoscopy Group at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) since March 2015. In November 2023, Jordi assumed the role of Associate Editor at Nano Letters, American Chemical Society. Additionally, Jordi has been a member of the Executive Board of the International Federation of Societies for Microscopy (IFSM) since September 2018 and previously held various leadership positions within the Spanish Microscopy Society from September 2009 to September 2021. Jordi's academic journey includes a position as an ICREA Research Professor at ICMAB - CSIC until February 2015 and as an Assistant Professor at the Universitat de Barcelona from March 2001 to September 2009. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, both attained from the Universitat de Barcelona.
