Jose Antonio Garrido

Jose Antonio Garrido is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at INBRAIN Neuroelectronics since 2018, and an ICREA Research Professor at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) since September 2015. Garrido has held various prominent roles at Technische Universität München, including Vice-director and Permanent Senior Researcher in the Physics Department from 2011 to 2015, as well as Senior Researcher and Lecturer (Privatdozent) from 2005 to 2010. Earlier experience includes leadership as team leader at the Walter Schottky Institute and postdoctoral research at Cornell University and the University of Michigan. Educational qualifications consist of a Habilitation degree from Technical University of Munich, a PhD degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and an Engineer degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
