Matthieu Rousseau

Matthieu Rousseau is a research scientist specializing in immunology with a focus on urinary tract infections and bladder cancer. Currently at Institut Cochin since September 2021, Matthieu defines the T memory response to cystitis and trains unit members. Prior experience includes significant roles at Institut Pasteur from 2015 to 2021, where Matthieu characterized macrophage subsets in the bladder and developed a new bladder cancer model to study immune responses. Matthieu's academic background encompasses a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Université Laval and multiple degrees from Nantes Université, including a Master in Biology and a Licence in Cellular Biology.
