Thaís Carbinatti

Thaís Carbinatti is currently a PhD student at Institut Cochin, focusing on the role of the transcription factor ChREBP in regulating the hepatokine FGF21, which is vital for energy homeostasis. Previous experience includes a research internship at DNA Consult Genética e Biotechnologia Ltda., where responsibilities encompassed patient interaction for sample collection, DNA extraction, analysis, and the development of a genomic services platform. As a project manager at Sirius Biotecnologia Júnior, Thaís contributed to providing business experience through project development. Multiple internships at the Universidade de São Paulo involved research in cancer signaling, population dynamics of Drosophila, and neurobiology. Thaís holds a Master's degree in Genetics from Université Paris Cité and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from USP.
