Leonel Malacrida

Leonel Malacrida serves as an Associate Professor at Universidad de la República and holds the position of Principal Investigator at Institut Pasteur de Montevideo since July 2019, where Leonel directs the Advanced Bioimaging Unit, a collaborative initiative with Universidad de la República. Leonel Malacrida completed a Postdoctoral study in Biophysics at UC Irvine from July 2015 to June 2019. Prior educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biology - Biophysics from Universidad de la República (August 2009 - August 2014) and a Bachelor of Biochemistry from the same institution (March 1999 - August 2009).
