Brunella Franco

Brunella Franco is a highly experienced academic and researcher in the field of medical genetics. Currently serving as a Full Professor of Medical Genetics at the University of Naples since December 2016, Brunella also lectures at the European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM) and has been a Principal Investigator at the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM) since November 1994. Previously, Brunella held the position of Associate Professor of Medical Genetics at the University of Naples Federico II until December 2016, and worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the Institute for Molecular Genetics. Early in the career, Brunella was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Molecular Genetics, Baylor College of Medicine. Brunella Franco earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Federico II University of Naples and completed a Pediatrics Residency Program at the University of Genoa, Italy.
