Huong Nguyen

Huong Nguyen is an experienced professional in the field of industrial engineering with a focus on manufacturing automation and digitalization. Currently serving as the Director of the Research Sector Signal and Power Networks at Lehrstuhl FAPS since October 2017, Huong Nguyen leads a research team dedicated to projects involving deformable linear objects in wiring harness and control cabinet manufacturing. Previously, Huong Nguyen worked as a Research Associate, focusing on deep learning-based optical inspection methods. Prior experience includes a role as a Working Student in Business Development and Marketing at Siemens, along with an internship in Lean Management and coaching related to the Toyota Production System. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from FH Münster. Additional study includes a brief academic experience at Université Grenoble Alpes.
