Aniket Patra

Aniket Patra, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in the Center for Theoretical Physics of Complex Systems since April 2023. Previously, Aniket was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University from May 2021 to March 2023, following a postdoctoral position at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems from January 2019 to April 2020, where research focused on strongly correlated quantum many-body systems. Aniket earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Rutgers University in 2019, where responsibilities included teaching assistant roles across various undergraduate physics courses. Additional academic experiences include guest scientist involvement at Los Alamos National Laboratory and research affiliations at prestigious institutions, underlining a strong foundation in theoretical and mathematical physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research-Kolkata and earlier educational establishments.
