Manager of People and Culture at Institute For Community Alliances

Kimberly Long, SPHR, has over 15 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Kimberly began their career in 2004 as an Administrative Assistant at Gold Standard Baking. In 2006, they joined Dickinson, Mackaman, Tyler & Hagen, P.C. as an Executive Assistant, HR Generalist, and Director of Human Resources. In 2017, they moved to Story County Medical Center as the Director of Human Resources. Most recently, they joined Institute for Community Alliances in 2022 as the Manager of People and Culture. In each role, Kimberly has been responsible for a variety of HR activities, such as recruitment and retention, orientation and onboarding efforts, performance management programs, employee relations, benefit administration and plan design, worker’s compensation and leaves administration, HR operations, administration and compliance, employee engagement, total rewards design, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Kimberly Long, SPHR obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature from Briar Cliff University. Kimberly also holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
