Thomas Webber currently serves as a Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analyses, focusing on live fire testing and evaluation of military systems within the Operational Evaluation Division. Prior to this role, Thomas was a PhD Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, where research involved advanced magnetic resonance techniques to explore polymer structures. Earlier experience includes work as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University in the Tree Soft Matter Theory Lab, and the Chemical Engineering Department, as well as an internship at Washington River Protection Solutions, where environmental considerations of nuclear waste were addressed. Thomas holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University.
