Jana Belzer

Jana Belzer is a dedicated researcher currently serving as a PhD student at the Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung since October 2024. Prior to this role, Jana worked as a research assistant at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, focusing on international trade and labor, and gained valuable experience as a student research assistant at both the Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung and ifo Institute, contributing to research on basic income support, labor market dynamics, and social market economy. Jana also interned with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, supporting initiatives on sustainable agricultural supply chains, and held a logistics management position at Siemens, where responsibilities included supplier management and performance controlling. Jana holds a Master’s degree in Economics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor's degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the same institution, complemented by international experience from studies at the University of Valencia.
