Gyrd Skraaning

Gyrd Skraaning is a Principal Scientist at the Institutt for energiteknikk, specializing in Human-Automation Interaction in areas such as nuclear process control, air traffic management, and the petroleum industry since March 1996. Prior experience includes serving as a Higher Executive Officer at the Universitetet i Oslo, where Gyrd developed an undergraduate distance education program in psychology, as well as working as a Research Assistant at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet, focusing on experimental methodology and psychometrics. Earlier roles include part-time assistance with neuropsychological tests under Neuropsychologist R. Gimse. Gyrd holds a PhD in Psychology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy.
