Jan Kihle

Head Geologist/senior Research Scientist at Institute for Energy Technology

Jan Kihle has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jan started their career in 1990 at the Institute for Energy Technology as a Head Geologist and Senior Research Scientist. In 1991, they joined the University of Oslo as an Assistant Curator. Moving forward, they worked as a Senior Geologist at Institutt for Energiteknikk from 1991 to 1996. During this time, they also served as the Director of Research and Development at Fiber Vision Ltd from 1996 to 1998, where they developed innovative multifaced information screens. In 2000, they worked as a Freelance Designer and High-End Hi-Fi Product Inventor at Electrocompaniet Inc., where they invented and designed high-quality audio products.

Jan Kihle's education history includes attending the University of Freiburg, Tønsberg Gymnas, and the University of Oslo. Jan has not completed a degree at any of these institutions except at the University of Oslo, where they obtained a Cand. Sc. degree. No specific field of study was provided for any of these institutions.
