Lucas Stephane

Lucas STEPHANE, PhD, is a Senior Scientist in AI and XR at the Institute for Energy Technology, managing the OECD NEA HTO 2021-2023 XR training and robotic remote operations. Previously, Lucas served as Assistant Professor of Human Centered Design & Innovation at the Florida Institute of Technology, advising multiple PhD and Master's students, and teaching courses related to game design, cognitive engineering, and usability. Earlier experience includes research roles at the Human Centered Design Institute and EURISCO International, focusing on cognitive engineering and human factors in various research projects. Lucas holds a PhD in Human Centered Design from the Florida Institute of Technology and multiple continuing education certifications from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as degrees in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, and Experimental Psychology.
