Sanna Sommer

Sanna Sommer currently serves as the Head of the Battery Department at the Institute for Energy Technology, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Sanna held various positions at Morrow Batteries from November 2021 to January 2025, including R&D Director of Product LNMO portfolio and Interim Director for the LNMO Portfolio. Earlier experience includes roles at Aarhus University as a teaching staff member and PhD student from January 2012 to June 2021, as well as a brief exchange at CNRS in France. Sanna holds a Bachelor's degree in NanoScience, a Master of Science in Chemistry, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry, all from Aarhus University, with educational pursuits spanning from 2011 to 2020.
