Tore Ramsøy has a strong background in research and scientific roles. Tore started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Niels Bohr Institute in 1991, followed by a Research Scientist position at the Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority from 1992 to 1995. After that, they joined the Institute for Energy Technology, where they held the position of Principal Scientist/Section Head starting from September 1995.
Tore Ramsøy pursued their education in Nuclear Physics at the University of Oslo (UiO). Tore completed their Master's Degree in Nuclear Physics from UiO between 1978 and 1983. Tore further advanced their studies at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nuclear Physics from UiO between 1983 and 1990.
