Volodymyr Yartys

Volodymyr Yartys is a distinguished Professor and principal research scientist at the Institute for Energy Technology, with a focus on materials science and hydrogen technologies. Since January 2005, Volodymyr has also served as a Professor at NTNU and has been an editor for the Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Elsevier, since April 2015. Between 1985 and 1997, Volodymyr held the position of Head of the Department of Materials Science of Metal Hydrides at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Volodymyr Yartys earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv between 1970 and 1975.
