Merrill Friedman

Merrill Friedman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and advocacy, currently serving as RVP of Inclusive Policy & Advocacy at Elevance Health and Anthem, Inc. since 2022 and 2012 respectively. Friedman holds board member positions at several organizations, including Mental Health America, EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases, National Academy of Social Insurance, and the Institute for Exceptional Care. Additionally, Friedman's previous roles include board memberships with Rebuilding Together, TASH, and the American Association of People with Disabilities, as well as chairing the MI Statewide Independent Living Council from 2010 to 2013. Merrill Friedman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Towson University between 1985 and 1989.
