Salil Tripathi

Salil Tripathi is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in human rights and sustainability. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Global Issues at the Institute for Human Rights and Business since 2009 and a Senior Associate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership since February 2024, Salil has been based in New York since 2019 after a decade in London. Salil holds honorary positions as a Board Member and Chair of the Writers-in-Prison Committee at International PEN, and as a member of the UK Executive Committee at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative. Salil has also contributed to various advisory panels, including at Telenor and ExxonMobil. With a background in writing, authoring, and journalism, Salil holds an MBA in International Business and Economics from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Accountancy from the University of Mumbai.
