Srilatha Batliwala

Srilatha Batliwala is a prominent feminist activist, researcher, and scholar based in India, with over two decades of experience in grassroots movement building focused on marginalized urban and rural women. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Knowledge Building at CREA, Srilatha also holds the position of Director for Knowledge Building & Feminist Leadership at the Institute for Human Rights and Business. In addition, Srilatha is a member of the International Advisory Board for Just Associates and previously co-chaired the Board of Directors for the Association for Women's Rights in Development. Srilatha’s extensive background includes roles at the Ford Foundation and various other organizations dedicated to gender equality and women's rights. Srilatha holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
