Kwesi Acquah Sam is currently a Board Member of the International Graduate Students Advisory Board at the University of Maryland and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Introduction to Counseling Skills & Practicum. Kwesi is also involved as a Graduate Fellow in the UMD-Hong Kong Polytechnic University Exchange Program and serves as the President of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana-United States of America. Additional roles include being a Doctoral Student Representative on the Faculty Council for NASPA and a Counseling Psychologist at Praiseword Online Counselling and Psychological Services Centre. Kwesi has held various positions at the Association of African Universities and the University of Cape Coast, including leadership roles in student affairs and adjunct instruction in psychology and education. Kwesi is pursuing a PhD in Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy at the University of Maryland, holding an MPhil in Guidance and Counselling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast.
