Swanky Hsiao is a Senior Engineer at the Institute for Information Industry since September 2022 and also serves as an Assistant Professor at Soochow University in the School of Big Data Management, teaching Blockchain Technology and its applications. Hsiao possesses extensive experience in photography, working with Uniform Map and Musoon Women's Clinic since 2013. A co-founder of GMF - Good Morning Frens from March 2022 to November 2022, Hsiao has held various positions at International Trust Machines Corporation, including Consultant and R&D Director, where responsibilities included leading blockchain research and development teams and driving technology promotion. Prior engineering roles at the Institute for Information Industry include Senior Engineer and Software Engineer. Hsiao founded Swanky Studio, a live broadcast and photo studio, and began a career in web development at Sunny Digital Education. Hsiao holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan Normal University.
