Azriel Bermant

Azriel Bermant is a prominent researcher and analyst in the field of International Relations, currently serving as a Visiting Researcher at INSS Israel since December 2023 and as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of International Relations in Prague since March 2021. With extensive freelance experience since 2007, Bermant has published works in notable publications such as Foreign Policy, Foreign Affairs, and Haaretz. Bermant authored the book "Margaret Thatcher and the Middle East," published by Cambridge University Press in 2016. Academic contributions include fellowships with the Royal Historical Society and teaching positions at various institutions, including a recent role as Lecturer in Nuclear Non-Proliferation and International Security at the Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business. Bermant holds a PhD from UCL, an MA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a BA Hons in Politics from London Metropolitan University, and a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance from the same institution.
