Shauwea Hamilton

Shauwea Hamilton is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nonprofit management and educational governance. Currently serving as Chief Regional Officer and Executive Director for Bottom Line since October 2018, Shauwea also contributes as a faculty member in the Community Fellows Program at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice. Previous roles include Chief External Relations Officer at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools and Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships & the Superintendent's Office at Newark Public Schools, where oversight of the Superintendent’s Office operations and external affairs was paramount. Shauwea's career also includes managerial positions at PSEG and UMDNJ University Hospital, with a strong educational foundation featuring an MBA from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and various certifications in coaching and sailing.
