Alice Watt

Alice Watt is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in medication safety and pharmacy practice. Currently serving as a Senior Medication Safety Specialist at the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada since July 2007, Alice has led numerous quality improvement projects focused on opioid safety and medication reconciliation. In addition to this role, Alice has been a Hospital Pharmacist at Oak Valley Health since October 2003, contributing to falls prevention initiatives and presenting on medication safety. Previous experience includes positions as a Hospital Pharmacist at Toronto East General Hospital and a Community Pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart and Wellesley Drug Store Pharmacy. Alice holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The University of British Columbia and is pursuing a Master of Applied Science in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
