Eric Davis

Eric Davis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of security and technology. Eric currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for Special Projects at the Institute for Security and Technology (IST). Prior to this, they were a part of the Integrity Institute's Elections Integrity Working Group. Eric has also worked as an Advisor at the Trust & Safety Professional Association.

Eric has experience in consulting as well, having worked as a Trust & Safety, Security, and Privacy Consultant at PwC. Eric served as the Chief Privacy and Policy Officer and Global Trust & Safety Lead at BIGO. Additionally, Eric has held significant roles at Symantec and Google. At Symantec, they served as the Senior Director of Product Management, overseeing privacy products. At Google, they held various positions, including Senior PM on the Android Security Team and Global Public Policy Manager.

Eric has also contributed to the cybersecurity community through their involvement in organizations such as StopBadware, where they were a member of the Board of Directors, and M3AAWG, where they also served on the Board of Directors. Eric has further participated as a member of the Executive Board at the National Cyber Security Alliance. Overall, Eric Davis brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their current role in the security and technology industry.

Eric Davis has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Eric also has a degree in Program Management (SCPM) and has studied Leading Innovation at Stanford University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) as well as Certified Information Privacy Professional/ Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2019.
