Senior Program Officer, Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact at Institute for Sustainable Communities

Lauren Ordway is a seasoned professional in climate change and sustainability, currently serving as Senior Program Officer for the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact at the Institute for Sustainable Communities since March 2018. Prior to this role, Lauren was the Executive Director at Dream in Green, where efforts focused on empowering individuals to tackle climate change. Additional experience includes key positions at The Nature Conservancy as Florida Director of Climate and Associate Director of Development, sustainability roles at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., and research assistance at the Southeast Climate Consortium examining the impacts of climate variability. Lauren holds a B.A. in Marine Affairs and Policy, International Relations, and Biology, along with an M.A. in Marine Affairs and Policy from the University of Miami.

Our approach incorporates capacity building, technical assistance delivery, knowledge products, climate change action planning, and peer learning.
