Jesse Damiani is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California beginning January 2024, teaching courses that explore the intersection of art and artificial intelligence in the Media Arts + Practice program. As a Senior Curator for Nxt Museum since October 2019, Jesse oversees the Nxt Realtime exhibition structure that engages diverse voices to tackle significant global questions. Additional roles include serving as an Arts & Culture Advisor for Protocol Labs, hosting "Taking Shape" by Adobe Substance 3D, and contributing insights on technology and culture to Forbes. Jesse's affiliations with institutions like metaLAB (at) Harvard, the Institute for the Future, and POWRPLNT further emphasize a commitment to innovation in the arts and education. An established presence in the literary field, Jesse co-founded and serves as Series Editor for the "Best American Experimental Writing" anthology. Academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree with a dual focus in Creative Writing and Media Production from Florida State University.
