Howard Sitron currently serves as an Associate at Interim Executive Solutions, LLC, where responsibilities include providing transitional leadership to nonprofit organizations. As a Greenhouse Network Member since January 2017 and an Advisory Board member for the Institute for Therapy through the Arts since January 2015, Howard has been involved in fostering innovation and providing guidance. In a previous role as Interim Executive Director at the American Foundation for the Blind from June 2022 to April 2023, Howard conducted an organizational assessment and facilitated leadership transition efforts. Howard's extensive experience includes serving as President/CEO of JCFS Chicago and Executive Vice President/COO of Jewish Family & Children's Service, with earlier positions at Breast Cancer 3-Day, LLC, and MossRehab, where responsibilities evolved over 21 years. Howard holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Saint Joseph's University and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Institute for Therapy through the Arts
Founded in 1975, the Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA) is one of the few comprehensive community-based arts therapy programs in the United States to offer four creative arts treatment modalities – Music Therapy, Drama Therapy, Art Therapy, and Dance/Movement Therapy. ITA is nationally recognized and has distinguished itself in the use of integrated arts approaches to help children, adults and families to improve functioning related to psychological, developmental, physical or cognitive factors.
