Kazi Afaq Ahmed

Dr. Kazi Afaq Ahmed B. Pharm, LLB, MBA, PhD is a senior Human Resources, Management & Industrial Relations professional with over 30 years of corporate experience. Dr. Kazi has served the industry in the Human Resources Industrial Relations & Management field at C-level positions at leading multinational companies in Pakistan and abroad. He has been providing consultancy services to the industry such as State Bank of Pakistan, SDPI on World Bank Project, Basic Needs Pakistan (NGO) Greenstar Social Marketing, Honda, CE Textile, KPL and other. Dr. Kazi has expertise in developing the organizational structure, policies, SOPs, Balanced score card and KPIs etc. Dr. Kazi is also specialist in labor management relations, Labor laws and have been providing consultancy and training on labor laws, third party contracts & legal risk mitigation etc. Dr. Kazi has worked for diverse organizations in banking, manufacturing, services, pharmaceutical, financial, social, and construction and engineering sectors. He has been associated with leading NGOs. As a researcher, academician and trainer, he has been associated with IBA Karachi in the past and currently Associate Professor and Consultant EMEC, Institute of Business Management.

AACSB Convener-Iobm: Dr Kazi is actively engaged in preparation and roll out of the AACSB accreditation initiative. He being part of the team developed Academic Excellence Framework for iobm benchmarking AACSB standards, authored many policies and job descriptions

Intellectual contribution: Dr Kazi authored more than 24 research publications in reputable local and international journals that includes 5,8, and 4 respectively in 2020,21 and 22. Several publications in international conferences.
