Brandon Sward

Brandon Sward is an experienced professional in the fields of institutional giving, education, and editorial work. Currently serving as the Advancement Officer for Institutional Giving at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles since May 2024, Brandon previously held roles such as Adjunct Instructor at Montclair State University and Editorial Associate at the Los Angeles Review of Books. With a background that includes grant application reviewing for the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, teaching assistance at the Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth, and participation in various advisory and internship positions, Brandon has developed a strong foundation in cultural affairs and education. Academically, Brandon has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology, a Master’s Degree, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Chicago.
