Andrea Nitsche-Krupp is an experienced curator with a focus on contemporary art, currently serving as the Curator of Exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Arts since May 2023. Prior to this role, Nitsche-Krupp held the position of Assistant Curator in Media Arts at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art from September 2018 to March 2023 and contributed as a Co-Editor for Shift: Graduate Journal of Visual and Material Culture in 2017. Additional experience includes positions as Assistant Curator and Consultant at the Kramlich Collection from 2014 to 2017, and a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Modern Art at New York University in late 2012. Nitsche-Krupp has also worked as a Research Assistant at various institutions, including The Morgan Library & Museum, New York University, and SFMOMA, starting from 2007. Nitsche-Krupp holds both a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Art History and Modern and Contemporary Art from The Institute of Fine Arts, NYU.
