Dr Ahmad Al-Hassiny is an accomplished dental professional with extensive experience in both clinical and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director at the Institute of Digital Dentistry since March 2017, Dr Al-Hassiny also practices as a Dentist at Naenae Dental Clinic since January 2016. Prior experience includes serving as Treasurer for the New Zealand Dental Students' Association from January 2015 to December 2016 and working as an Academic Tutor at the University of Otago between 2012 and 2014. Dr Al-Hassiny earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with First Class Honours from the University of Otago from 2012 to 2015, following a Bachelor of Science in Health Science First Year at the same institution during 2011 to 2012.

The Institute of Digital Dentistry promotes and educates on the many facets of digital dentistry and how it can revolutionize your practice and make dentistry more enjoyable and predictable for you and your patients. Our goal is to help our colleagues within the dental profession to take the first steps into the digital world. The technology is available what is missing is the understanding and the experience, unfortunately there are very few 3rd party independent groups that are designed to help guide dentists into digital dentistry and help them master these cutting-edge tools. We are a place where dental professionals can come together and share findings, thoughts, and experiences about digital dentistry. We provide courses that will help clinicians learn and master the many aspects of digital dentistry and help make them more confident and proficient in this ever-growing branch of dentistry.
