Kristen Jain-Thut

Kristen Jain-Thut has had a varied work experience in different roles and industries. Kristen currently serves as the VP of Sales at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at TeamSnap as the Director of Account Management and Sales Enablement from 2022 to 2023, and at LeagueSide as the VP of Growth from 2019 to 2022. Their responsibilities at LeagueSide included sales enablement, client success, partnerships, and revenue analytics. Before that, they held roles at Venture for America as a fellow from 2017 to 2019, and worked as a Client Success and Campaign Executive at LeagueSide in 2018 and 2017 respectively. Kristen also gained experience as a Graduate Student Consultant at Cigna in 2016. Kristen started their career as the Public Relations Chair at Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity from 2015 to 2016, and also worked as a Farmer Support Intern at Organic Valley in 2015. Kristen has a background in Higher Education from the University of Michigan where they worked from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they served as the Professional Fraternity Council Representative at Phi Sigma Pi in 2014.

Kristen Jain-Thut received their Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 2016. Kristen studied in the Program in the Environment and had a minor in food studies. In 2017, they attended the Wake Forest University School of Business and obtained a Master of Science and Management (M.A.) degree. In 2015, Kristen also studied at the ICADS Institute for Latin American Studies, focusing on Spanish and the ecology of natural and managed ecosystems. Additionally, in 2013, they conducted ecology field research at the University of Michigan Biological Station. Prior to their college education, Kristen obtained their High School Diploma from Seaholm High School in 2012.
