Leisha Nicol has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director, Integrated Marketing and Brand Strategy at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) since September 2021. Prior to this, Leisha worked at OCC, where they held various roles starting from Corporate Communications Analyst in 2007 to Director, Investor Education Marketing in 2020. Their responsibilities at OCC also included being the OIC Marketing Director from 2018 to 2020 and the OIC Marketing Manager from 2011 to 2018. Leisha began their career at Recycled Paper Greetings as a Communications Coordinator and Writer from 2003 to 2007.

Leisha Nicol obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from UCLA in 1993 and later received a Master of Arts degree in Radio, Television & Film from Northwestern University in 1994.
