Melodie Anderson, CEM, DES, serves as the Senior Director of Meeting & Exhibit Experiences at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) since September 2021, having previously held the role of Exhibits Manager from 2014 to September 2021. In these positions, Melodie oversees tradeshow logistics and operations for one of North America's largest food expos, managing a budget exceeding $10 million annually and executing comprehensive event management activities. Prior to IFT, Melodie worked at AAP from 1997 to 2014, where responsibilities included managerial oversight of trade show exhibit properties and event planning as Senior Manager, Exhibits and Registration, and earlier as Meetings Manager and Meetings and Membership Services Coordinator. Melodie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Northwestern University.
