Noel E. Anderson PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the food industry. Noel E. currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) since 2019. In addition, they hold the position of Chief Science Advisor at New Wave Foods and Chief Science Officer at iBars Club LLC since 2020. Before these roles, Anderson was the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Mosaic Food Advisors starting from 2016. Noel E. also served as an Advisory Board Member and Board Member at Board Leadership since 2015. From 2013 to 2018, Anderson was the Chairperson and Member of Feeding Tomorrow, the Foundation of IFT, where they focused on raising awareness and interest in the science of food as a career path. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at PepsiCo, including VP Analytical & Technical Insights and Vice President, Global Beverages Product Development. Noel E. also had key roles at Kraft Foods Group, such as Division Research Director, Post Cereals, and Vice President, Technology Kraft Canada. Anderson began their career in the food industry at Kraft Foods Group, where they served in various roles, including Research Manager - Ready to Eat Desserts, Desserts Division, Operations and Technical Services Manager, Thomas Garraway LTD, Laboratory Manager, Breakfast Foods Division, and Project Leader/Group Leader. During their tenure, they successfully led research and development activities, implemented quality improvement programs, and managed operations and technical services.

Noel E. Anderson holds a Bachelor's Degree, a Master's Degree, and a PhD in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained certifications including the CFS-Badge from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) in 2013. Noel E. has also been honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2011 and is recognized as a Fellow by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) in 2010.
