Sourav Das

Sourav Das is a DST-Inspire Faculty at the Institute of Life Sciences since September 2022, with a robust academic and research background in biotechnology. Previously, Sourav held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from March 2021 to September 2022 and served as a BCSC Postdoctoral Fellow at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from October 2019 to November 2020. Sourav's earlier experiences include roles as an Innovation Fellow/Senior Research Fellow at the National Innovation Foundation - India and as a CSIR-Senior Research Fellow at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research from April 2017 to August 2018. Sourav Das earned a Ph.D. in Biotechnology with a specialization in Nanotechnology and Environmental Biotechnology from KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, where an Integrated Masters of Science in Biotechnology was also completed.
