Cynthia Sturgis Landrum

Cynthia Sturgis Landrum currently serves as the Acting Director and Deputy Director of the Office of Library Services at the Institute of Museum and Library Services, a position held since June 2019. Prior experience includes serving as CEO-Director at the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library from January 2016 to June 2019, and as Assistant Director for Public Services at the Oak Park Public Library from September 2013 to December 2015. Landrum's career in library services began at the City of Glendale Arizona, where various roles included Adult Services Supervisor and Business and Multicultural Librarian from June 1999 to October 2011. Landrum also contributed to the Arizona Library Association as Past President from 2009 to 2010 and held the position of Learning Resource Center Coordinator at Western International from January 1997 to June 1999. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Managerial Leadership for the Information Professions from Simmons College, along with an MLIS from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Northwestern University.
