Helen Wechsler

Helen Wechsler has extensive experience in grants management and strategic initiatives within the museum and cultural sectors. Currently serving as a Supervisory Grants Management Specialist at the Institute of Museum and Library Services since December 2009, Helen previously held leadership positions as Vice President of Communications and Partnership Development at the American Architectural Foundation from 2007 to 2009, and at the American Association of Museums from 1990 to 2007, where roles included Director of Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects, as well as Director of the International and Ethics Program. Helen's educational background includes a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in the History of Art from the University of Michigan, earned between 1980 and 1988.
