Tekquell Watson, PMP, CISM, currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at the Institute of Museum and Library Services, focusing on operational and strategic IT services, including security and emerging technology. With extensive experience at the United States Department of Defense from 2004 to 2022, Tekquell held various leadership roles, including Division Chief for Special Missions, overseeing a team of 150 IT professionals and managing multiple systems for 25,000 customers. Tekquell utilized Agile and DevSecOps methodologies to enhance operations. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Information Technology from Walden University, a Master’s in Information Technology Project Management from the University of Arkansas Grantham, and a Bachelor’s in Computer and Information Sciences from Georgia College & State University. Additionally, Tekquell holds an Associate's degree in General Studies from Georgia Military College.
