Gary Waldrep

Gary Waldrep is a seasoned professional in the nuclear power industry, currently serving as the Fleet Assessment Manager at Duke since October 2018. Waldrep has a long-standing tenure at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) since November 2009, holding multiple roles including Innovation Manager, Program Manager for Delivering the Nuclear Promise, and Senior Representative, focusing on implementing innovative strategies and improving operational efficiencies at nuclear plants. Additionally, Waldrep has been the Plant Evaluations Team Leader at INPO since January 2013. Prior experience includes positions as New Plant Project Manager and Operations Manager at Exelon Nuclear from 2005 to 2009, and Nuclear Oversight Programs Manager from 1998 to 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University.
