Joseph White has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Starting in 1980, they worked as an Instrumentation Technician at Cincinnati Gas & Electric, where they were responsible for maintaining and repairing plant Instrumentation & Controls. Joseph then transitioned to the US Navy in 1982, serving as a Nuclear Power Operator and assuming various supervisory and managerial roles aboard USS Ray (SSN-653). Joseph'sresponsibilities included managing Engineering Laboratory Technicians, overseeing mechanical watch stations, and performing maintenance on the ship's propulsion plant and auxiliary systems. After leaving the Navy, Joseph worked as a Training Director at Exelon from 1990 to 2011. During this time, they also took on the additional role of Command Career Counselor onboard USS Ray. Joseph then joined the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations in 2011, starting as an Accreditation Team Manager before transitioning to roles such as Organizational Effectiveness Team Leader, Team Leader - Plant Evaluations, and Training Department Manager. Most recently, Joseph served as the Director of Information Technology at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
Joseph White has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from St. Ambrose University, which was obtained in 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology/Technician from Northern Illinois University in 1997. Although no specific degree is mentioned, Joseph also studied engineering at the University of Cincinnati. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Senior Reactor Operator Certification from Quad Cities Station in February 1992.
