Matthew McCarty

Matthew McCarty is an experienced professional in the nuclear power industry, currently serving as Assistant Department Manager for Plant Operations and Assistant Department Manager for Emergency Management and Fire Protection at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) since October 2021, after holding the position of Senior Evaluator in Plant Operations. Prior to INPO, Matthew worked at Exelon as Work Week Manager from October 2019 to October 2021 and spent 18 years at Entergy in various roles including Operations Shift Manager, Control Room Supervisor, and Reactor Operator. Matthew earned an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management between 2019 and 2021 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego, obtained from 1992 to 1996.
