Khurram Khurshid

Khurram Khurshid is an established academic and industry professional with extensive experience in the field of computer vision and machine learning. Currently serving as Head of Department and Professor at the Institute of Space Technology since 2002, Khurram has also held positions as Associate and Assistant Professor at the same institution. In addition, Khurram collaborates as Co-Principal Investigator at the Small Satellite Technology & Research Lab, serves as Director of the AI & Computer Vision Lab, and co-founded Space Systems pvt Limited, where Khurram holds the role of COO. As a founding board member of the Pakistan Pattern Recognition Society and former editor of the Journal of Space Technology, Khurram has made significant contributions to the field. Khurram obtained a PhD and an MS in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from Université Paris Cité and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology.
