Ben Joakim

Ben Joakim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advisory and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Celtic Freeport and Chair at the Institute of Welsh Affairs since 2023, Ben has previously held positions such as Board Director at FinTech Wales and Head of Strategy at Principality Building Society. As the Founder and CEO of Disberse from 2016 to 2021, Ben demonstrated entrepreneurial expertise. Additional experience includes co-founding DrisoTech, acting as Interim Director for Positive Women, and serving as Advisor to Hub Cymru Africa. Ben's academic background includes a BSc in Anatomical Science from Cardiff University and a Diploma in International Baccalaureate from UWC Atlantic College.
