Alex Tsang

Alex Tsang serves as an Assistant Professor and Teaching Fellow at the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong since August 2016. In addition, Alex holds the position of President (Academics) at the Hong Kong Institute of Environmentalists. Alex contributes as a mentor for CChem with the Royal Society of Chemistry and engages in various mentoring roles across multiple institutions, including the Chartered Management Institute and the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Alex's research management focuses on plastic and polymeric wastes at the Research Centre for Waste and Resource Management and encompasses work in environmental technology, energy management, and waste-to-energy technology. Alex's educational background includes a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as postdoctoral research in Polymer Chemistry at The University of British Columbia.
