Diego Fernandez Sasso

Diego Fernandez Sasso is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in pediatrics and hematology. Since February 2000, Diego has held the position of Jefe Internación Pediatría at the Instituto Argentino de Diagnóstico y Tratamiento (IADT), overseeing pediatric hospitalization services. Additionally, Diego is responsible for the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation program, with expertise in autologous and allogeneic transplants. Diego serves as the pediatric emergency physician at Instituto William Osler and functions as a consultant and auditor for Gaucher disease. As a co-founder and medical director of CrioCenter, Diego leads Argentina's only private cord blood stem cell bank. Diego's medical training includes a degree from the University of Buenos Aires and various specializations in pediatrics, hematology, palliative care, and organizational coaching.
