Matias Guerra

Matias Guerra is an experienced researcher specializing in microbial genetic resource investigation at the Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias - INIA since May 2017. Prior to this role, Matias served as a research assistant at Universidad de Chile from July 2014 to April 2017, where expertise included ion exchange chromatography, size exclusion chromatography, and HPLC for purifying and quantifying red tide toxins, alongside significant experience in culturing cyanobacteria and dinoflagellates in semicontinuous bioreactors. Matias holds a Master's degree in Microbiology from Universidad de Concepción (2011-2014) and a degree in Bioengineering with a focus on Biotechnology from the same institution (2006-2012).
