Paula Guillén Morales

Paula Guillén Morales is a genetic diagnosis specialist currently co-responsible for the Telomeropathies Service at Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas de Madrid - CSIC since April 2021. This role involves managing the genetic diagnosis of rare telomere-associated diseases, including the handling of biological samples, DNA extraction, telomere length analysis via qPCR, and report preparation. Additionally, Paula has experience as an R&D Scientist focusing on rare telomere diseases and has previously completed internship traineeships at IIB Sant Pau, Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas de Madrid, and Laboratorio de Salud Publica Del Ayuntamiento De Madrid, gaining extensive proficiency in molecular biology techniques. Paula holds a Master of Science in Advanced Genetics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Degree in Biochemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
